A note from our Chairman....
Thank you to all who participated in this wonderful event. On December 6, 2011 we had more than 150 people in attendance at the AACC Milwaukee Premier of Sole of a Hustla showing at the Milwaukee Art Museum.
The documentary is a powerful, real-life entertaining teaching tool and will be used to spark conversation around economics and entrepreneurship in the black community.
The talk back session after the movie was fantastic. Thanks again.
Proceeds raised from this event support our bridge loan fund for Black businesses and the Center for teaching Entrepreneurship.
We would like to again, thank our wonderful sponsors who made this event possible.

Thank you for your support.
The African American Chamber of Commerce has acquired the rights and is
proud to present a gripping documentary film about a group of black
urban entrepreneurs, their creativity and passionate drive to escape
hometown poverty and an undying drive to succeed. This
real life drama examines the one ingredient that binds all successful
entrepreneurs, regardless of race, gender, creed or economic background
from Bill Gates, Martha Stewart to Sean Puffy Combs -- “hustle.”
“Sole” follows the relationship of young entrepreneurs and a venture capitalist from its beginning, presenting us with its inherent humor, drama and always entertaining cast of characters. The film examines the essence of “hustle” showing us just how far it can take you and just how far it can’t. It is also an examination of urban culture and its often tenuous relationship with the culture of commerce. But in the end, it is a story about friends trying to help one another rise above the status quo and realize a life of pride and dignity that all men willing to hustle deserve.
